Wooden Flower Stand/ Stand blodau pren

Thursday 28/5/26: 6-7.30pm - £30 pp (Glass of Prosecco or Mocktail of choice included)

To mark the end of the Cofi Celf Art Trail, come along to Y Segontiwm to create a beautiful dried flower display in a handmade wooden stand.

Choose from a selection of locally grown dried flowers, foliage and seed heads to make your own unique display, to take home.

The workshop will be held in the comfy lounge at Y Segontiwm, followed by the option to stay for the live music jam downstairs from 8pm.

I nodi diwedd Llwybr Celf Cofi Celf, dewch draw i'r Segontiwm i greu arddangosfa flodau sych hardd mewn stondin bren wedi'i gwneud â llaw.

Dewiswch o ddetholiad o flodau sych, dail a phennau hadau a dyfir yn lleol i greu eich arddangosfa unigryw eich hun, i'w chymryd adref.

Cynhelir y gweithdy yn y lolfa gyfforddus yn Y Segontiwm, ac yna bydd y dewis o aros am y jam cerddoriaeth fyw i lawr y grisiau o 8 y nos.

Saturday 6/6/2026: 1pm to 4pm - £45 pp

Learn how to press flowers in a traditional handmade wooden flower press, practising the best techniques to capture and preserve the beauty of fresh flora of different shapes, sizes and depths.

In addition, you will be able to create your own herbarium (floating flower frame) with a lovely selection of pre-prepared dried and pressed flowers.

All the materials will be provided to try out pressing various types of flowers and to make your own herbarium to take home.

There is an optional extra of £35 (payable to the tutor on the day) to take home a handmade wooden press filled with flowers, so you can continue your flower pressing journey.

The course will be held in the Siop iard workshop (upstairs, no lift access).

Dysgwch sut i wasgu blodau mewn gwasg flodau pren traddodiadol wedi’u gwneud â llaw, gan ymarfer y technegau gorau i ddal a chadw harddwch y blodau ffres o wahanol siapiau, meintiau a dyfnderoedd.

Yn ogystal, byddwch chi'n gallu creu eich herbariwm eich hun (ffrâm blodau arnofiol) gyda detholiad hyfryd o flodau sych a wedi gwasgu sydd wedi'u paratoi ymlaen llaw.

Bydd yr holl ddeunyddiau yn cael eu darparu i roi cynnig ar wasgu gwahanol fathau o flodau ac i wneud eich llysieufa eich hun i fynd adref gyda chi.

Mae £35 ychwanegol dewisol (yn daladwy i’r tiwtor ar y diwrnod) i fynd â gwasg bren wedi’i wneud â llaw yn llawn blodau adref gyda chi, fel y gallwch barhau â’ch taith gwasgu blodau.

Bydd y cwrs yn cael ei gynnal yng ngweithdy Siop iard (i fyny'r grisiau, dim mynediad lifft).
