Candle holder with a yakisugi charred effect. Painted white and coated with waterproof, heatproof polyurethane finish.

Yakisugi is a traditional Japanese method of preserving wood by charring its surface with fire, also known as shou sugi ban. Paint is then added which soaks into the wood, creating a unique texture and effect.
